Student Distance Learning Packets are being delivered on the buses today, Wednesday April 22. They will then be available for pick up at Oakridge High School today from 6-8 PM and Thursday from 8am to 4 pm.

Change in Lunch Service This week we will begin serving 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches on Thursdays at our High School and on our bus routes. One set for Thursday and one set for Friday. This will allow us to discontinue Friday delivery in order to save on transportation costs. We will serve meals Monday-Thursday at the same times and places.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, Oregon Governor Kate brown announced the closure of all Oregon schools through the 2019-2020 school year. The Oakridge School District will continue to provide distance education and meals. Bus routes continue to run to deliver breakfast and lunch Monday - Friday. Meal pick up at OHS continues. Since beginning bus delivery is up and running, the site at the Baptist church is now closed. We are thankful to the Baptist Church for their support and love as they opened their doors and hearts to our serve our children.

MEALS ON BUS WHEELS
Oakridge School District is offering every kid a free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch every weekday—no matter what their income or where they live or go to school.
Now, those meals are available on our bus routes as well. Meals are for all students and youth 18 and younger. Meals are served Monday–Friday, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Expansion of Breakfast and Lunch delivery to bus routes begins tomorrow, April 1. Today those who are on our bus routes received personal phone calls from our wonderful bus drivers who shared information about the bus route schedules for the delivery of meals. Our hope is that we will provide more meals to children ages 1-18 in our community. The bus schedules are posted on our website. We will continue to serve breakfast and lunch at the High School and Baptist Church for those who would like to continue coming to those sites.
Why yes, we are serving breakfast and lunch during Spring Break. 11 AM - 1 PM. OHS and the Baptist Church!
Free Breakfast and Lunch is available for all children age 1-18 or older if an Oakridge student. Currently we are serving Monday through Friday at the front of the High School and at the Baptist Church. We are working on plans to expand the service to areas further out via bus routes next week. Stay tuned!
